Lancia Fulvia Rebuild

Just as we were finishing up the rebuild of one Lancia Fulvia following a lengthy restoration, this one arrived to keep us busy. Much like the Giallo HF example, this one was presented to us freshly painted, stripped down and ready for a rebuild. Sounds simple doesn’t it? In reality, finishing projects started elsewhere can be like attempting a jigsaw puzzle with no idea of what the completed picture should resemble! It has been delivered with boxes and boxes of parts ready to put back together, but without knowing exactly what, when and how has been removed it can take some unravelling. But, we love a challenge here at italicar and can’t wait to see this Fulvia back together.

The first stage we’re tackling has been to ensure that the underside remains looking just as fresh as the paintwork above, so we’ve been stripping down all components ready for powder coating and refinishing, repairing any little areas of concern to the floor and treating the entire underside to keep this Fulvia in stunning condition for many years to come. Check back here, or follow us on social media to keep up to date with the upcoming stages in this Lancia Fulvia’s rebuild.

Update 08/08/21

Progress has continued apace for this Lancia Fulvia - the entire underside stripped down and everything either replaced or fully refurbished and powder-coated to keep it in this box-fresh condition for many more years to come. We are absolutely loving working on this car!
